Everest Base Camp Trekking
 
Itinerary (14 Days)
 

Day 01. Kathmandu to Lukla (2830m.) to Phakding (2,652m.): Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and camp at Phakding approximately 3 hrs. walking distance. The trail tops a small ridge and from where the trail descends to Suikhet (2,340m.) and passes below Lukla to Chaurikharka. The field that pass through support crops of corn potatoes, wheat and Cabbage and the Sherpa here are generally better off thins their friends above Namche.

Day 02. Phakding to Namchebazar (3,446m.): Approximately 5 hrs. walking which is a beautiful day walking through magnificent Rhododendron, Magnolia and Fir forest. Several villages provide welcome tea shops and views of the peaks increase and improve until finally reach Namche after a long pull up of a ridge. Namche is the main Sherpa village and have to rest on the afternoon to enjoy walking round the village.

Day 03. Rest at Namche Bazaar: This is rest day for acclimatization at Namche Bazaar.

Day 04. Namche Bazaar to Thyangboche (3,897m.): After breakfast, trek will lead to Fungi Thenga for Lunch. After lunch ascend another 2-hrs. and reach at Tengboche and pay a visit to  Monastery with Sherpa guide. Form Tengboche we can see Everest (8,848 m.), Nupse ((7,879m.), Lothse (8,516m.), Khantega (6,809m.),and most beautiful of all Ama Dablam(6,856m.).

Day 05. Thyangboche to Pheriche (4,252m.): This walking day through Pangboche village where what is claimed to be Yeti's scalp and the fingers of hand, kept in the Pangboche Monastery can be seen with the Sherpa guide.

Day 06. Pheriche to Lobuche( 4,930m.): Already first part of the day climb a small ridge contour to Thukla(4,600m.) before climb the moraines of Lobuche with the best view of high mountains including Mt. Everest( Sagarmatha).

Day 07. Lobuche to Kala Patter(5,545m.) to Gorakshep(5,151m.) : This trail gives a good view of pumori. This section  of the trek provides good views of the Everest group from Gorakshep and Kala Patter.

Day 08. Gorakshep to Everest Base camp and back to Lobuche: Everest Base Camp is the main camp for the Mountaineers situated at the elevation of 5,252 meters. The Trekkers feel very happy to reach there as it makes them a life time memories for their adventurous fulfillment.

Day 09. Lobuche to Dingboche.

Day 10. Dingboche to Thyangboche.

Day 11. Thyangboche to Namche Bazar.

Day 12. Namche Bazar to Phakding .

Day 13. Phakding to Lukla.

Day 14. Lukla to Kathmandu .By flight
