Siklish Trekking
Rough and wild, this trek cuts through less travelled country south of Annapurna II & Lamjung Himal massif. It boasts good mountain views and the local people are unaccustomed to trekkers. It is a spectacular short trek and traverses a variety of terrain from low land villages and rice terraces up to Nepal 's largest Gurung (Gurkha) village (3000m,) as well as blooming forests of rhododendron in the spring.

Itinerary (10 Days)

Day 1 Drive to Pokhara. O/N camping.

Day 2 Pokhara to Kalikasthan
Drive to Bijayapur and trek through different tribal villages to Kalikasthan, camping at the top of the mountain which offers you panoramic views of the Himalaya .

Day 3 Kalikasthan to Lamachaur (near Thak)
Passing waterfalls, the track moves downhill into the lush green river valley, before climbing towards Lamachaur, where we camp for the night.

Day 4 Lamachaur to Siklis
The track climbs to Siklis through dense rhododendron forest and Nepal 's largest Gurung (or Gorkha) village. This is the best point from which to see the Himalayan panorama and close views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II
and Manaslu.

Day 5 Explore around -
After breakfast climb to the unnamed peak 3025m. Pack lunch will be carried for the day and come back to Sikles for camp.

Days 6, 7 and 8 Chipli -  to Ghale Gaon
Descend through the forest and a smaller village to the pleasant village of Ghale . You may be interested to stay one more day here, to enjoy the panoramic views of the Machhapuchhare (the Fishtail.)

Day 9 Ghale Gaon to Pokhara
The trail descends to Pokhara through the forest, passing a diverse range of tribal villages (Brahman, Chhetri, Gurung and Thakali.)

# It can be done opposite way starting from Ghale Goan.
